The Meta Centre was founded in 1986 as a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the provision of services to children and adults with special needs and to the inclusion and integration of varied ethnocultural communities into Canadian society. From our first small part-time day and evening recreational programs, the Centre has managed its growth responsibly and has emerged as a leader in the community-based developmental services sector.
Our services include:
- day, evening and Saturday programs and executive and administration offices at our 401 Champagne Drive facility in North York;
- extensive day services in our 4 Day Program locations;
- residential services in 16 homes in the Greater Toronto Area;
- supported independent living services;
- social work services;
- respite services;
- student training and placement; and
- client trips and summer camp programs.
