The operating costs of the Meta Centre are supported primarily through funding from the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services. (www.cfcs.gov.on.ca)
Nonetheless, we could not fully meet the deserving aspirations of our clients without the generous capital and operating support of our corporate and individual donors and volunteers, to whom we are very grateful.
For example, this is what support from our donors can mean:
- $15,000 buys one annual placement for a high needs individual in our day program at a 1to 4 staff per client ratio;
- $4,200 buys one placement for the full summer program for a high needs individual at a 1to 2 staff per client ratio;
- $3,000 buys one annual placement in our Saturday recreational program at a 1to 4 staff per client ratio; and
- $1,000 buys one 2-week placement in our summer program for a high needs individual at a 1to 2 staff per client ratio.
